Palette questions
How many colours should a wedding palette have?
Three to five: one dominant, one or two supporting and one or two neutrals. Stationery usually uses the dominant colour plus a neutral background.
Do the colours print the same as on screen?
Not exactly. Screens show RGB, paper is CMYK; saturated blues and greens shift the most. Order a printed sample before printing the whole suite.
Can I check if my palette has enough contrast for text?
Yes. Open any colour in ColorsLovers and read the contrast table; invitation text needs at least 4.5:1 against its background.
